Royalcover Wins the 2012 Most Fashionable Style Award

On the afternoon of September 25th, 2012, Royalcover Home Textile won the Most Fashionable Style Award in the ELLE DECORATION on the award ceremony of “Best of the Year”, a home decoration product design competition of ELLE DECORATION in 2012!
The awards in the annual home decoration products design competition of ELLE DECORATION were selected by a judging committee consisting of designers and authoritative media. While considering both the design and practicality, they attached more importance to products that can create a more comfortable and relaxed life. Aiming to spread a new lifestyle in China, these works should meet Chinese customers’ requirements and comply with the design taste of high-end life. After assessment, in-depth discussion and repeated consideration carried out by the committee, Royalcover finally won the 2012 Most Fashionable Style Award on the ceremony of “Best of the Year” of ELLE DECORATION.
The “Katarina” series of bedding selected are uncommon home textile products with collection value, newly designed in 2012 by Royalcover together with Italian fashion design master Massimo Nanni. Based on a natural leopard print, Katarina adopts unique radial patterns to present a visual effect full of freedom, boldness as well as enchantment. Popular, environmental-friendly real silk is adopted as the raw material, globally unique single yarn is chosen as the warp weaving technique, and traditional Italian workmanship is applied, presenting different textures and light sensations of velvet and silk in the light. The ornament of gold-thread embroidery brings another highlight to the products, going well with velvet and silk. The natural and gorgeous characteristics, the retro purity and wildness manifest the innovative philosophy of Royalcover in terms of design, environmental protection and technology, like a pure and innocent fantasy in a colorful world, thus Royalcover deserved to win the award.
Since life aestheticians are fond of Royalcover, ELLE DECORATION invited Royalcover to participate in the home textile exhibition held at the ELLE DECO Cafe during the “Beijing Design Week”. In the event field, Royalcover displayed “Lafite Manor”, another series of bedding. Natural imported cotton and silk are selected as raw materials. Yarn dye is integrated with jacquard weave and organic printing. Therefore, the lining pattern is finer and smoother, the hand feel is softer, and the gloss is shinier. Bourdon stitching, stiletto, embroidery, binding and other difficult workmanship are adopted to create unique and unparalleled jacquard patterns. The finished products have to undergo 49 strict processes before acceptance, like the way Lafite treats top vintage wine, fully leaving a deep impression on visitors at the exhibition.
