Commodities are arts

Massimo Nanni, a stylist cooperating with Royalcover Home Textile, graduated from a famous Italian fashion institute called Istituto Secoli di Milano with a doctorate degree as a fashion stylist. A number of promising talents who are active in the global fashion design circle such as Francesco Cecchini, Marta Griso, and Roberto Cacace have also graduated from the Italian institute. Massimo Nanni, who enjoys a high reputation in European and American fashion circles, has worked as a chief designer and director for many world-famous brands, like Ralph Lauren, Giorgio Armani, Versace and Dolce & Gabbana and the image consultant of numerous leading international stars such as fashion queen Lady Gaga.
Nanni was born in a big steel manufacturing family in Omegna, Italy. Instead of taking over the huge family business, he chose to be a stylist. When he was 18, he became an apprentice of a famous Italian stylist and specialized in fashion design and textile embroidery.
He worked in New York for a long period and later went to India, where he personally supervised the fashion design and production. Afterwards, he went to work and live in China and Japan where he was deeply attracted by Oriental culture and realized the balanced beauty of “Buddhism” in philosophy and the harmony of textiles, as well as felt their perfect visual effect.
When he realized that he could appreciate design techniques about the human body - shapes, lines and colors, the application of silks, velveteen and other materials, and the handicraft developing of textile printing and embroidery more profoundly - he returned to Italy and started his design in a new way. By combining his understanding of fashion trends and integrating the essence of Italian arts, he worked on self-creation to design more amazing works in the international fashion circle.
Massimo Nanni has a keen insight for fashion and strict attitude towards design. In his opinion, commodities should be designed like arts, so what they sell should be cultural value rather than merely commodity value, which complies with the brand value that Royalcover advocates. Under the circumstances of harmonious intrinsic philosophy, Nanni has taken a great interest in Royalcover and after carrying out several in-depth exchanges and discussions, he has started to work together with Royalcover. It is Massimo who brings vitality to the design team of Royalcover. He not only presides over the product design in person, but also inspires the potential of young stylists. Under his guidance, young stylists continuously gain design inspiration from both the exploration in fashion and new fields. He applies the latest international fashion elements and lines to the production of home-made textiles, so all the design products are endowed with master-level charm. He also brings the pure Italian noble lifestyle to China through Royalcover, and lets more Chinese families appreciate Italian quality.
